Background: The peak of the Omicron wave COVID-19 created a sudden and unanticipated shortage healthcare workers, particularly in long term care (LTC) triggering provincial government’s call for aid. This culminated into collaboration between universities government to engage undergraduate nursing students assist by re-assigning their clinical placements. required shift location LTC from acute care, time frame, end semester mid-semester.
